Our Story

We’re a small team of opera singers, pianists and stage directors living in Amsterdam. We make drama for a living.

Our professional lives involve chasing light, atmosphere, and emotion on stage. We wanted to make dramatic candles that remind us of the operas characters we love — layered, complex, suspensful, unforgettable and a little emotionally unhinged.

Coloratura Collection has a secret behind-the-scenes mission. The profits support the Netherlands Lyric Opera Festival, a young artist program we founded to provide training, mentoring, and career-launching opportunities for emerging singers, pianists, directors, conductors, costume designers and other opera artists.
